Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of Simt Social, the map-first social network for discovering and organising real-world activities. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms together with the privacy policy and the community rules.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to contract.
• You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep your linked Google account secure.
• An account is strictly personal.

3. The service

Simt Social lets you publish activities, answer invitations (RSVPs), interact with other members while respecting location privacy, and use the social features described in the product. The service is provided in evolution; some features may be limited during the beta.

4. Content and conduct

• You are responsible for the content you publish (text, images, activities).
• You warrant that you hold the rights needed for the images you upload.
• You respect the community rules and the applicable law.
• You do not misappropriate the service (spam, impersonation, technical circumvention, unauthorised automated collection).

5. Location and safety

The host chooses between an approximate location and an exact reveal, following the product's rules. Simt Social is not an emergency service. In case of immediate danger, contact the competent emergency services.

6. Moderation

We may remove content, limit features or suspend an account when the rules or the law are breached. Reasoned decisions can be appealed internally within the period stated in the interface. Moderation is exercised in accordance with the applicable law, including hosting-provider obligations.

7. Intellectual property

Simt Social, its name, its interface and its software remain the property of Quazar Media. You keep your rights in your content, and you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it solely to provide the service, within the visibility settings you choose.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is” within the limits allowed by law. Quazar Media is not a party to the real-world meetings between users and guarantees neither their quality nor their safety. Our liability is limited to foreseeable direct damage, unless a mandatory provision states otherwise.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and ask for your Simt Social account to be deleted. We may suspend or terminate access in case of serious or repeated breach. Deleting the Simt Social account does not remove your Firebase identity, which the other SIMT services use.

10. Governing law

Without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules, these terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the competent courts of the district of Quazar Media's registered office, unless a mandatory rule states otherwise.
